Are you an IT guru and a people person?  Talent Capture is seeking candidates for Talent Scouts – an ideal position for anyone who has a passion for both tech and talk.  As a Talent Scout, you’ll match IT employers with ideal job candidates.  You’ll talk to employers about what they want in an employee, and you’ll find the best people for the job by personally interviewing all candidates.
Talent Scouts must have great business relationship skills and enjoy working with people.  You’ll also be working with minimal supervision, so we need someone with an entrepreneurial attitude who enjoys a challenge.
At Talent Capture, you’ll join a team of professionals with direct experience in the IT industry.  Our mission is to match our clients with results-oriented employees.  We also help job candidates build their own brands with free career coaching and resume critiques.

Talent Scout Job Description Overview

Works with employers to find the best possible job candidate.  Interviews employers and gathers information on desired skills, qualifications, and personality traits.  Reviews candidate resumes,, then interviews qualified candidates to determine whether their career goals and personality make a good match for the specific job description and company culture.  Makes informed recommendations to employers regarding the best fits for their job positions.

This is a full-time position.  Telecommute or local.
Salary is negotiable and depends on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Gather information during phone-based interviews with employers and potential job candidates
  • Review resumes for skills and qualifications
  • Make educated decisions regarding best applicants for specific job description
  • Act as intermediary between employers and job candidates

Qualifications and Experience

  • 5+ years of relevant experience, including account management and business development
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a business, management, or IT field
  • Excellent communication skills, especially on the phone.  A “people person.”
  • IT background is preferred, but not required
  • Quick, agile learner
  • Must enjoy a challenging, fast-paced job
  • Must be able to juggle multiple client accounts
